Ade Vincent is an award-winning composer, multi-instrumentalist and producer with a diverse body of work. His style draws on classical, pop and electronic music, with a focus on blended genres and intricate production.
His concert music includes multiple commissioned works for the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, the Melbourne Chamber Orchestra and Tinalley String Quartet featuring Lior. He is lead singer, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter for indie-pop band The Tiger & Me, who are signed to ABC Music. He writes electronic music with Artemis Aether. His self-produced debut solo album was an art/pop song-cycle setting of Edgar Allan Poe’s The Raven, in which he performed many of the instruments. He also writes music for media and commercials. He is a senior composition lecturer at Box Hill Institute – he devised and wrote their composition degree. He has a PhD in Composition from The University of Melbourne. He works out of Ballarat and Melbourne, Australia. He is published by Gaga Music and The Australian Music Centre. |
